As a certified instructor with the National Safe Boating Council and an active instructor for the Satellite Beach Police Voluntary Marine Patrol, Captain Dan brings elite-level safety and boat handling expertise to every lesson. Whether you are a brand-new boat owner or looking to sharpen your offshore skills, you will receive patient, professional instruction tailored to your experience level.

We make learning to drive a boat convenient. Choose to train on your own vessel to get comfortable with your specific equipment, or train aboard Captain Dan's fully equipped 37 Ft. Boston Whaler docked right at Port Canaveral.
We proudly provide private boating instruction throughout Central Florida's east coast, including Melbourne, Melbourne Beach, Cape Canaveral, Port Canaveral, Satellite Beach, and Vero Beach.

Essentials of Close-Quarters Boat Control
Essentials of Close-Quarters Boat Control
This course is intended to train a boat operator to control a boat in tight spaces (close quarters).
The course provides instruction of basic boat control skills, primarily through hands-on training on the water with a certified instructor.
These skills are then reinforced with on the water practice. 4 hour class, with up to three participants $195.

Essentials of Close-Quarters Boat Control
This course is intended to train a boat operator to control a boat in normal daytime, calm water "cruising" situations. It builds upon the step-by-step skills the participant learned in the Essentials of Close-Quarters Boat Control Course.
This course provides instruction of basic boat control skills, primarily through hands-on training on the water with a certified instructor.
It will enable the novice and even the experienced boater to gain confidence and to have safer and more enjoyable boating experiences. 4 hour class with up to three participants $195.
